We are Tabula Rasa — a rock band from Warsaw. Our music is built around guitars, a strong rhythm section, electronic elements and the kind of energy that fully comes alive on stage.
The band was formed in late 2023. Since then, we have played our first original shows, competitions, support slots and our own tour. We are not trying to build this project through shortcuts. Step by step, we are gaining experience, writing our own material and looking for a sound that genuinely feels like ours.
Our music starts from rock, but we do not want to lock it into one narrow category. There are heavier riffs, groove, synths, space and more emotional moments. We like contrasts: stronger hits and quieter passages, guitar weight and electronic layers, raw live energy and more trance-like, hypnotic moods.
Different perspectives are an important part of Tabula Rasa. Our bassist, Carlos Ceron Lara, comes from Chile and brings a lot of groove, freedom and stage temperament into the band. You can hear it in the songs, but you can feel it even more live — in the way the rhythm section works and how it drives the whole show forward.
The stage is central to what we do. After our shows, people have often told us that we bring a lot of energy and have a strong connection with the audience — and that is exactly the point. We do not want to play “at” people. We want the crowd to be part of what is happening: reacting, singing, moving and entering the concert with us.
The name Tabula Rasa means “blank slate”. For us, it is not emptiness, but space. A place where we can combine rock tradition with modern sound, weight with melody, electronics with live performance, and control with moments that can only happen on stage.
We are a band in motion. We play, write, develop and keep getting a clearer sense of where we want to go. Tabula Rasa is not just a name for us, but a way of working: starting from our own idea, not copying ready-made formulas, and building everything from the ground up — in our own way.
